Financial circles reported on July 5, 2025 that, according to information from the State Intellectual Property Office, Baotou Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. has applied for a patent titled “A New Combined Production Process for Seamless Steel Pipes and Titanium Alloy Seamless Pipes” with the publication number CN120243675A, and the application date is April 2025.

The patent abstract shows that the invention discloses a new combined production process for seamless steel pipes and titanium alloy seamless pipes. By adding electric furnaces and induction coils, and adopting a series of technical measures such as setting the 布料 form of the heating furnace, the tapping rules of the pipe billets and the rapid switching rules of the rolling mode, the purpose of alternately rolling seamless steel pipes and titanium alloy seamless pipes can be well achieved.
